This is an ode to the week prior and the week following Halloween. Let’s confront this head on: we are going to eat candy. Most of us already have this week. Am I right?
We can’t have the mindset that eating candy is always bad. If we think there is never an appropriate time or place for eating candy then every time we do, we’ll feel guilty. No more guilt in eating! Enjoy!
The problem with candy is when we have it too much and too often. Feel free to have your butterfingers, skittles, caramel apple sucker, or candy corn. My recommendation is to only have one portion and then not keep it around after the holiday is over. Throwing candy away is not a waste of money. Believe me, nobody is getting a good meal because they saved their Halloween candy.
